The value for money at this hotel is excellent. The prices are very reasonable considering the facilities and services provided. The attention to detail in the rooms is commendable, with clean linens, comfortable beds, and complementary drinks in the fridge. Additionally, the location of the hotel on the outskirts of Sæby is perfect for those seeking a peaceful getaway close to the beach.
No major issues, all was satisfactory.

the pool and spa facilities were very good
I would have liked to have coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Also the coffee at breakfast tasted like cheap instant - not a good start to the day.

I liked the option of having a spa, although we didn't have time to use it. The english description of the facilities free to guests was confusing, however. The books in the room state it is 175 dkk per person to use the spa/pools but when asked the front desk they said it was free for guests. If the hotel would like to market themselves as a spa, then that needs to be more clear otherwise people will not use it.
Our rooms were very warm for Summer and because they were right next to the highway it was very noisy if we left the door open to cool down. Therefore, we didn't sleep very well. My husband was disappointed in the breakfast as he thought the juices were watered down, but I thought it was fine.

Great location for beach walks, well-maintained Aqua Spa, friendly staff, delicious breakfast buffet, quiet and comfortable rooms, possibility to enjoy spa after check-out.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

Nice location, right by the beach and close to a cute Sæby village
Road side rooms in the summer get hot (no air-con) and leaving the window open is a must. The car road is though busy from early morning, which means early wake-up. Breakfast on all days only till 10 am, also in the summer,

We were utterly impressed with the swimming pool facilities and fully equipped fitness room. They are well designed, functional and attractive. We regularly used these facilities and enjoyed them tremendously. The pool staff and reception staff were always helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful stay at The Viking.
I thought there could be more fresh fruit and Danish pastries for breakfast and the curtains in our room 125 were ripped through sun damage and the roof leaked in the corridor which we reported to reception after placing a bucket under it. Even so we had a great stay at the Viking and would recommend it to anyone

The location of this hotel offers many good long walks to the beaches of this city. The spa is well-maintained and even after checking out, I was allowed to enjoy the facilities as long as I wanted. The breakfast buffet had everything I needed to start off my day. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing great service.
Nothing that I didn't like.

Convenient Location and Great Amenities
We spent our Easter at this hotel and had a generally satisfying experience. The location was very convenient as it was located near great attractions. The amenities the hotel offered were outstanding, including a clean and relaxing spa, impeccable service, and an affordable room rate. The room was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable. The daily breakfast buffet was enjoyable, with a decent variety of food choices.
The outdated décor in the rooms, and the parking lot was not well-lit, making it feel a bit unwelcoming at night. The cleanliness of the pool area could have been better as there were some dirt and green sediment on the floor.

The hotel is perfectly located for those who want to be close to the beach. It is situated on the outskirts of the town, so it is so close to the sea that you can almost feel the salty breeze. the breakfast offered a good range of choices and the staff were quite friendly and helpful.
The rooms were a bit outdated and could use some renovation.

Spent Xmas with family at a hotel in North Jutland and had a great time! the breakfast buffet had plenty of options and the staff was very attentive. the location was perfect for a winter getaway- close to the beach, great for a walk, and not too crowded. the hotel's indoor pool was clean and spacious, and the sauna was a nice bonus.
Our room was not as clean as we had hoped, and some of the furnishings were outdated. the WiFi service was also poor, which was frustrating for a family with teenagers who rely on their devices.
